Mission Statement
Rescue Me to Paradise is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, this organization will promote education to the public on subjects useful to individuals and beneficial to the community and provide relief to the poor, distressed and underprivileged. We further our purposes under our 501 (c) (3) non- profit tax exempt status by helping the less fortunate, educating the uninformed concerning humanitarian issues and promoting love, peace, health and education.
Description
The focus of our current agenda is to motivate, advocate and teach underprivileged youth currently attending Los Angeles County schools and residing in lock down facilities. Our mission is to educate and bring constructive curriculum through a wraparound program to children and teenagers in Los Angeles Unified School District & Los Angeles County Office of Education. Some activities include: fitness, recreational activities, art therapy, and educational life courses. These modules create a healthy child development, help youth increase social skills and strengthen cognitive behavior. These activities enable them to live productive and positive lives. Our objective is to also help children and their families break cycles of abuse through apprenticeship and mentoring.
