Holly Community, Inc. promotes access to community resources and support for people with disabilities and their families by offering choices, preserving dignity, and increasing independence for an improved quality of life

Description

The four core services of the Holly Community are: Assistive Technology - we are a local resource to assist residents of the Eastern Shore of Maryland learn about, gain hands-on experience with, and ultimately acquire assistive technologies. Information & Referral - offering information or referral to community resources & services for people with disabilities & their families, medical professionals, educators, & other like service professionals. Planned Leisure for Adults & Youth (P.L.A.Y.) - provider of recreational & social activities, events & programs for people with disabilities. Support Services - funding support for the unmet needs of individuals with developmental disabilities residing at the state-operated Holly Center & mini-grants for consumer-driven community projects
