Mission Statement

Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons, with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually centered, holistic care, which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and words.

Description

The Center of HOPE is our connection to the neighborhood surrounding the hospital. There are a multitude of programs that take place at the center that support our community.

  • Community education
  • Prescription assistance for uninsured/underinsured
  • Guides to connect the uninsured/underinsured with medical care
  • Computer access
  • Laundry facilities access
  • State-of-the-art kitchen
  • Meeting space
  • Neighborhood social events
  • Children's programs
  • Access to gym equipment

In addition, the neighborhood gives back to the world community by donating their time at the center to create children's dresses, shorts, and tiny hospital gowns to send to third world countries.
