Mission Statement
The Pan-Long Island Challenge (PANLIC) a 100 mile charity bike ride begins in Nassau County continues into Suffolk County ending in East Hampton. PANLIC raises money for research to help 100 million Americans -- one third of the U.S. population -- afflicted with skin disorders, skin cancer research and treatment of skin diseases. Founded in 2010, PANLIC depends upon cyclists, individual contributors, volunteers, corporate and business sponsors to achieve our mission: To attain maximum fundraising efficiency while providing doctors and researchers, identified by the American Skin Association, the necessary resources to discover cures for all skin cancers and diseases.
Description
The Pan-Long Island Challenge (PANLIC) is a call to all bicyclists on Long Island; the NYC metro area; and throughout the USA and internationally to challenge themselves to undertake a supported one-day, long distance, scenic and fun bike ride dedicated to raising money for skin cancer research, prevention of skin disease and skin health
promotion/education.
