Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Homeland Volunteers Society is a grass-roots non-profit corporation that seeks to network local volunteer units, empowers local citizen cadres with a foundation and organizational structure, a communications link to other cadres at the local and State levels, standardized operational process, training, and the recognition they deserve.
1) COMMUNITY COMMUNICATIONS - This activity will promote volunteerism and the establishment of local volunteer cadres. The goal is to heighten community awareness of, and participation in voluntary service to America. 2) MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT - This activity includes the development and propagation of organizational materials, intra-/inter-organizational communication mechanisms, and volunteer training materials. 3) VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION - This activity intends to raise community awareness of the selfless actions of volunteers and includes member retention programs as well as service awards and social events. 2) FUNDING - This activity seeks corporate sponsorship, charitable fund raising, memberships and donations and is designed to fund Homeland Volunteer Society programs and activities as described above. Our non-profit corporation was formed with out stock and we will make all receipt and disbursement information available to any concerned citizen. On September eleventh, in the skies over Pennsylvania, the 40 passengers and crew of United flight 93 made a voluntary decision to take back their destiny and to protect us from those who threaten America. Those volunteers handed America their lives in the active defense of our Homeland. The first 40 memberships in the Homeland Volunteers Society are held in reserve for, and in reverence of those first volunteers of this new American era.
