Mission Statement

Our main purpose is to intellectually stimulate and educate people of all ages and ethnic groups through film, music and live theatre. We expose the community to new independent films and documentaries as well as the old Hollywood classics and films made right here in Kansas.

Description

The Murdock Theatre is a small independent art theatre in downtown Wichita. We run an independent and foreign film series, Operas broadcast from the Met of NY, ballet from London Paris and Russia, Shakespeare from The Globe, and many other events.
