Amazing organization! I loved helping my kids make our food donations at home, then being able to hand it out at the different sites. THORN Ministries is quite organized and welcoming to new volunteers. Will definitely be there more often!

My daughter and I have volunteered about 6 times and we have brought friends as well to help, adult and kids. We have served food, brought clothes and my daughter collected and still collects hygiene supplies to give away. We really enjoy it and people show so much appreciation for the assistance they were given. We met so many people that we left feeling fulfilled.

It is easy to tithe your money but time is another story. This lets spend 3 hours each sunday helping to feed the homeless. The group is not caught up in titles and like but simply feeding the homeless. Each Sunday I come away inspired by our work. I'm 76 and untill I broke my ankle last month I have missed a Sunday in since I started months ago. I only missed 2 weeks when I got a new hip April 30th. This ankle really laid me low but I look forward to starting again. I simply fill drink cups with ice but it is inspiring. Jim Clarke
