Mission Statement

Texas Hillel creates opportunities for all Jewish students at the University of Texas at Austin to develop their own interests and participate in a welcoming campus-base community that respects the value of pluralim and promotes ongoing involvement in Jewish life.

Description

Texas Hillel is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation founded in 1929 as a recognized student organization at the University of Texas at Austin. Each year, Texas Hillel plans more than 100 different programs and activities, primarily for Jewish students, but open to the entire University community. Projects include social events, classes, arts and cultural programs, distinguished speakers and community service initiatives.
