Mission Statement

To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Description

Junior Achievement (JA) was founded in 1919 for the purpose of educating and inspiring high school students to value free enterprise, business and economics. JA of the Cape Fear Region was officially organized in 1997. Since then JA programs have been presented to more than 35,000 local students.

Through community and business volutneers, JA teaches students K-12 about workforce readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
