Mission Statement

The volunteer group's mission is to ease the animals' transition to the shelter environment by giving them comfort and exercise while they are with us. Further, we try to make the animals more adoptable through grooming, socializing and training.

Description

The Animal Shelter handles animal control complaints for most of Porter County and also offers animals for adoption and gives educational programs to schools and other organizations.

I like to make a differece in every animals life! people just throw there animals away like trash when they get to big or they dont want to play with them anymore. Every animal deseve a great and happy long filled life! people are curl and mean to there animals and i dont know why. animals want to be loved and cared for, just like us people! im doing the right thing and helping animals to make a change in there life to let them know, that all people arent going to beat you nor not feed you. ill tell everyone about this. every shelter should be a no kill shelter, but we all know that we cant save every animals that comes in!. thank you..
