Mission Statement

p D'Shore was founded in the spring 2011 academic semester by the Monmouth University Entrepreneurship class headed by Professor John Buzza. We are a non-profit organization that serves the Long Branch community and is based out of St. Luke's United Methodist Church on Broadway in Long Branch, N.J. Our purpose is to create a pleasant and dignified environment where patrons can enjoy a quality meal in an enjoyable atmosphere.

The recession has impacted the community in a dramatic way. Now, more than ever, people need a helping hand. Soup D'Shore aims to be that helping hand for individuals whom have been affected by the hard economic times. Through the community kitchen as well as the various other initiatives, Soup D'Shore intends to possitively impact the community.

Soup d'Shore is a nonprofit organization that is designed to meet the needs of the Monmouth County community. We offer services like a job placement board, free meals, and various seminars and counseling for our patrons. We operate on behalf of Monmouth University and our kitchen is located at St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
