Mission Statement

Project Linus is a 100% volunteeer nonprofit organization. It is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers.

Description

We need persons who make blankets who are willing to donate them to this cause. We also are a nonprofit registered with the IRS and accept financial donations

I would recommend this organization to others because there are people i know that are not able to go out of the house and volunteer but could make a blanket while watching a TV program or riding on a bus or traveling in airplane or visiting a sick friend or family member in hospital. I think its an excellent opportunity to volunteer.
