We strive to rescue, educate and adopt for the citizens and animals in the City of Oakland.

Description

Oakland Animal Services is the Municipal Shelter for the City of Oakland. We are an open door facility with cat, rabbit and dog adoption programs. Volunteers are the backbone of our adoption programs, helping place over 200 animals each month.
