The Opstand Foundation assists and inspires at-risk youth to become self-supporting and contributing members of our communities.

Description

We achieve our mission through:

  • Transitional housing that provides a positive environment, relief from hunger and the dangers of street-life
  • Individual evaluation of needs and goals
  • A "Learning to be Self-Reliant" program of work, exercise, reading, and spirituality
  • Job skills training, internship & employment opportunities
  • Assistance with individual education goals, including completing the GED, application to college, technical school, and/or certificate programs.
