Mission Statement

Community Housing Resources is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1976 and incorporated in 1983. Our mission is to improve community life by opening doors to homeownership and promoting fair and equal housing opportunities for all persons in Washington County, Maryland. Our activities and services are available without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, marital status, or income.

Description

Community Housing Resources provides information, education and outreach, and referrals for fair housing and landlord-tenant issues. The Hagerstown Home Store program provides homebuyer education and pre-purchase counseling for homebuyers and administers special incentive programs to encourage reinvestment in the City of Hagerstown.
