Mission Statement

Animal Friends for Education and Welfare (A.F.E.W) is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization that promotes adoption and proper placement of homeless and domestic animals through careful screening. A.F.E.W. supports humane animal control by spaying and neutering cats and dogs and encourage others to do so. A.F.E.W. raises pubic awareness of animal issues. Its members work for the passage of legislation supporting animal welfare. We promote public education to foster respect, understanding, and compassion for all creatures.
