Metro Caring is an anti-hunger organization in Denver that meets the immediate need for food while building a movement to end hunger at its root. Through our fresh foods market, Metro Caring is redistributing approx. 20,000lbs of food every day to the greater Denver Community and we need more volunteers to help us do this in a more dignifying way (shorter wait times, greater organization, etc.). Volunteers are also able to take home 10lbs of food every time you volunteer to help supplement your own food budget! If interested in joining our community as a volunteer, please fill out a volunteer intake form and attend a quick, one-time orientation. Our greatest need is during the day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays but there are volunteer shifts to fit any schedule including nights and weekends. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities both active and seated, using technology or not, and interacting with others or more solo. 0 Comments Share Save
