Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents

Mission Statement

The mission of the Center is to serve those children and adolescents admitted to the Center by providing psychiatric diagnostic, evaluation, and treatment services of the highest quality attainable at a reasonable cost to the Commonwealth and in coordination with the family, community services and the professional community. The Center's services are provided to Virginia's youth in an environment that promotes dignity and respect of children and adolescents toward the goal of improvement in their lives and development of their fullest potential.
