Our mission is to be companions on the journey with immigrant families and the economically disadvantaged by providing educational programs and human services.
Centro Guadalupano is a unique resource in the Phillips community of Minneapolis. Our neighbors are individuals and families living at or near poverty. We assist them in meeting basic needs. We also offer education resources that will help them achieve self-sufficiency. Our programs help more than 1,000 individuals and families each year. Our services include:
Outreach: food shelf, housewares, clothing and soup kitchen
Health Services: Free Zumba classes
Adult Education: ESL classes, a Digital Literacy course, and a sewing group for women
Out of School Time Enrichment: An after school program for neighborhood youth, reading and math support, music lessons, dance lessons, summer camp, and help for parents in navigating the American school system
