Mission Statement

To encourage social and economic development through an innovative recognition and promotion of traditional and contemporary Central Appalachian culture, specifically through art, music and storytelling, environmental stewardship, youth empowerment, and community action.

Description

Rolling Hills Folk Center is a community-centered organization. We were created in the summer of 2010 and are currently building a foundation for change in the region. Currently we have three main focuses: building a local sustainable food network, youth empowerment, and supporting local artists and business. We couldn't do any of our work without the collaboration of other community members, organizations, businesses, and governmental officials.
