Description

Central Virginia Training Center(CVTC) is one of five state facilities in Virginia which serves persons with mental retardation. CVTC is certified to provide the following levels of care: Intermediate, Skilled Nursing, and Acute Care. CVTC provides services to persons with mental retardation primarily from eleven Community Service Boards(CSB's) in central, southwest and northwest Virginia. Central Virginia Training Center is located north of Lynchburg in Madison Heightson State Route 210 in Amherst County.
