To provide quality care and adoption services for local animals, and also to provide care for special needs animals witout the possibility of euthanasia.

Description

Cats Are Us is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit organization founded in December 1997. We are an all-volunteer rescue and adoption agency located in Clarksville, Tenn., about 50 miles NW of Nashville near Fort Campbell, KY. We do not euthanize healthy animals and will give them a safe, caring home until they are adopted.

Cats Are Us is a no-kill shelter that cares for unwanted and un-adoptable cats and kittens. The work is crucial since people don't spay/neuter their cats. The local Animal Control euthanizes most of the cats that end up there. Cats Are Us is a bridge to families/people who want a social, healthy cat. They can use people to help feed the cats, clean litter boxes and just play with the kitties. They can also use financial donations to spay and neuter cats and kittens dropped off illegally. Food and cleaning supplies, litter and toys are also needed.
