Mission Statement

The mission of the Department is to provide to the Commonwealth of Virginia a responsive, coordinated, composite police department, independent yet supportive of other law enforcement agencies; to preserve law and order; to enforce criminal, traffic, and regulatory laws; to meet goals and objectives of the Department; and to provide security and safety services in the most efficient and effective manner.

Description

The VSP Volunteer Service Program is designed to facilitate the achievement of Department goals and objectives and to enhance the Department's ability to provide the highest quality law enforcement services to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
