I have been a volunteer with Kabissa in 2005-2006 and now again in 2011, and I have seen the organization evolve in that time to meet the changing needs of the African civil society community that it serves. It's increasingly clear how important communication is to acheiving social good, and Kabissa has done an incredible job over the years facilitating conversations, sparking ideas, and serving a sounding board for civil society organizations all across Africa, helping them to achieve their goals. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to have volunteered (and continue to do so!) with an organization with such a worthy purpose in our technologically inclined and communication savvy world.
