Description

The City of Jenks provides a small town atmosphere with big city convenience minutes away. Located along the West Bank of the Arkansas River, Jenks is proud to be the host of the region's first river entertainment/activity center. The City of Jenks is revolutionizing the tourism market of Oklahoma. Beginning with the opening of the Oklahoma Aquarium ( www.okaquarium.org ) in May of 2003, the City saw over 450,000 people and over 100,000 school children accept that invitation by experiencing this world class facility the first year. This success continues with RiverWalk Crossing . This dynamic new development is home to retail, restaurants, and office space. The RiverWalk Crossing Plaza overlooking the Arkansas River also serves as an outdoor dining space, and the amphitheater hosts live concerts and events. An eight-screen movie theatre is at the center of this unique dining, shopping, and entertainment venue. The 75-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located adjacent to the Oklahoma Aquarium. Jenks looks forward in anticipation of more Riverfront venues with the addition of River View Center, the Village at Towne Square, and the River District, a regional urban village.
