Awaken the City is about transforming the city one life at a time. Our love for the city comes from experiencing the love of Jesus. Whether you are connected to a faith community or simply looking to make a difference in the city, we are here to help you connect your gifts and passions with the needs in the city. We invite you to be a city light. The ministry is a part of Hyde Park Community UMC, with a vision of transforming the city, one life at a time. We're living into that vision every day by building relationships with others and partnering with organizations and churches. We believe in 10 years our city can be a different place.
