Mission Statement

DCRA's purpose is to provide individualized community-based quality services to people with developmental disabilities in a way that will allow them to participate with their family, friends, and other natural support systems as they strive to reach their maximum potential and build their own way of life. In doing so, DCRA will predominantly focus on the provision of residential, respite, employment and socially-oriented services.

Description

The Connections Volunteer Program was created in 1987 to promote friendship and understanding between community volunteers and individuals with mental retardation.
