Mission Statement

Providing comprehensive medical care to the working uninsured in Martin County, through the efforts and expertise of volunteer medical and lay personnel, at no charge to the patient.

Description

VIM Clinic provides free, comprehensive medical care to uninsured, low-income residents of Martin County, who earn less than 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Since 1995, we have been able to provide a critical safety net thanks to the generosity, dedication and expertise of volunteer medical and lay personnel.

Nearly 90 percent of our staff is volunteer, enabling us to provide $11 worth of services for every dollar donated. In fact, 98 percent of every dollar goes directly to patient services.

Our focus is preventive and primary care but with our partners in medicine, we are able to meet most medical needs and ensure a continuum of care.

As a member of the national Volunteers in Medicine Alliance, VIM Clinic provides a valuable safety net in a warm and caring environment that respects the dignity of every person.

Together, we are VIM Village, and we DO make a difference!

Reason why is because I enjoy aiding people in need. I want to become and ob-gyn when I'm done with school. also I think I'm most compatible and social to volunteer here. thank you and God Bless
