Description

Franklinton is the oldest neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio and is located immediately west of downtown. Historically, Franklinton was prone to flooding due to much of the land being below the level of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers. After years of decline, a new chapter has developed in the area's history. New development sparked by the completion of the floodwall has sparked renewed interest in a area once neglected.

New, renovated and well maintained older homes at affordable price points make the community ideal for those looking for starter homes, or wanting the convience of central city living like shorter commutes and access to cultural facilities. The areas central location makes access to all of Columbus' major highways easy.

A growing and diverse community of homeowners is represented by the Homeowners Association. We hope that if you are a new or long time homeowner that you will consider membership.

Although we call ourselves a "homeowners association", we are a civic association and welcome all responsible and interested homeowners, renters, and property owners.
