NAMI Central Virginia is an awesome organization that provides a variety of educational classes, support groups, advocacy projects, and support for mentally ill and their families in Central Virginia. I've been a volunteer since 2015 and have found it to be extremely rewarding! I love the work I do and am excited to continue and expand on my volunteer work in 2016!

Having volunteered for NAMI in many capacities in the last 10-15 years, I know all the benefits received by both members and non-members. They are numerous and if you are involved with someone, especially a loved one, with a mental illness you are going to be able to move forward and see some improvement. Don't hesitate, check us out and join. We welcome you and know it will be a win/win situation. God bless us all.
