Mission Statement

The Children, Youth & Family Division of the larimer County Deparment of Human Services supports the right of children and adults to be safe. We belive it is the whole community's responsibility to support and ensure the well-being of it's most vulnerable citizens.

Our goal, as partners with the community, is to provide access to information, assessment, intervention and services which support children and older adults remaining safe, stable and intact within their families and communities, while respecting the culture of each family.

Description

The volunteer program at CYF is all about engaging the community. Our Family Options Philosophy includes partnering with the volunteers and interns from all walks of life, diverse ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds.

The volunteer program matches people with families and children, based on their needs. We consider skills, abilities, interests, location and schedule and focus on personal strengths of the individual. This improves the benefits to our families and makes your volunteer experience rewarding and meaningful.
