Mission Statement
The mission of Journey Learning Center is to provide a high quality, multi-disciplinary treatment program for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in order to maximize the development of their communication, social, sensory-motor, and academic skills.
Description
Journey Learning Center provides year round therapeutic and educational services in a school-like setting for young children (ages 2 through 7) with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Utilizing customized treatment approaches to meet each child's individual needs our goal is to maximize development of communication, social, sensory-motor and academic skills.
Strategies employed at Journey Learning Center include Relationship Development intervention (RDI), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Speech and Occupational Therapy. We utilize a low staff-to-child ratio in order to provide individualized, comprehensive and intensive programs for the children.
Certified teachers and therapists, as well as trained volunteers provide a comprehensive, therapeutic and fun-filled program throughout the day.
