Mission Statement

Indianapolis Animal Care Services works in partnership with the community to address problems associated with pet over population, to promote responsible pet ownership and to enhance the health and safety of the community. IACS encourages the adoption of pets, enforces ordinances and laws regarding animal-related issues and conducts inspections for the licensing of facilities that sell, groom and kennel animals.

The facility was very clean and well laid out and the staff were just fantastic. I adopted a Puggle this past Saturday and he's an absolute delight. I did my research ahead of time, but if you don't the staff will work with you for as long as it takes to find a good match. Please please please consider adopting one of these wonderful needy pets from Indianapolis Animal Care. I can't say enough great things about the whole experiance.
