Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop academic skills, behaviors, and attitudes in academically motivated and underserved middle school children to improve their grades, test scores, attendance, and opportunities - resulting in acceptance to top high schools.
Description
Higher Achievement closes a persistent achievement gap for middle school students in at-risk communities by providing rigorous after-school and summer academic training within a culture of strong relationships and high expectations. We believe talent is everywhere, intellect is built through effort, and opportunities matter. On average, 95% of Higher Achievement scholars advance to top academic high school programs and 93% graduate from college.
