The purpose of Mountain Movers Institute, Inc. is to assist young people in being active, productive leaders in their community by instilling hope, values, a sense of purpose and belonging, a love for God and others and a sense of direction.

Description

Mountain Movers Institute, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational and recreational interventions that assist young people, ages nine to fifteen, in discovering their strengths and developing healthy values. Youth participants are provided with caring mentors and qualified volunteers from the community to assist them in developing and enhancing individual skills. In addition to activities, participants experience personal growth through leadership and communication workshops and prevention programming.
