Mission Statement

Our mission is to lead and innovate youth organizations to improve outcomes and reduce social costs.

We improve programs that change kids’ lives.

We play a vital role in supporting youth programs in Oregon. Research proves that youth programs are only truly effective when they are high quality. Our goal is to get more nonprofits to be exceptional, so more kids are enrolled in great programs and experience life-changing support.

Our mission is to lead and innovate youth organizations to improve outcomes and reduce social costs. Learn more about our programs and services by checking out the About Our Work section of our website. We have a vision where we will see a united Oregon that prepares youth to thrive.

We know that our assistance can help youth programs. When an average mentoring program begins to work with us, we find they are generally following 35 out of 58 best practices. By the time the organization is ready to graduate from our coaching program, most nonprofits are following 56 of the 58 best practices .

We provide education and resources.

We educate people that work and volunteer in youth programs. We produce webinars, trainings, and conferences on critical topics. Our Best Practice Clinics provide relevant, evidence-based information on topics ranging from recruitment to program management. In addition to education, we deliver initiatives that support the operations of youth programs. From volunteer screening services to mentor incentive programs, we offer services that create efficiencies and make youth development programs stronger.

Our impact creates a ripple effect.

We provide critical support services to:

  • More than 140 nonprofits, churches, and schools
  • Operating at 500 sites
  • Driven by 600 staff members and 1,000 administrative volunteers
  • With 22,000 mentors
  • Serving 60,000 youth
