Mission Statement

Built on the concept of delivering value to the participant. RAM Racing promotes health and fitness while supporting the community by partnering with several different non profit organizations.

RAM Racing was officially established in 2002 when a small neighborhood race transferred ownership to our retail store Running Away Multisport. Within only a few years Bucktown 5k has become the largest neighborhood race in Chicago.

The Bucktown 5k wet our appetite for events, as over the past nine years RAM Racing has grown to seven running events and three triathlons. Our portfolio includes the third largest race in the Chicagoland area, The Hot Chocolate 15K & 5K at 30,000 participants in 2010. All races are partnered with a featured charity - the races provides an opportunity to not only raise funds for the organization but also provides an opportunity to create brand awareness.
