We are one of the grassroots support groups of environmental volunteers that have sprung up around the world in defencse of the environment.

Description

The Bush administration and the oil and gas industry continue to push for drilling off California's coast. Right now, the administration is fighting a court ruling that grants California the right to review the effect on our coast of 36 undeveloped leases for oil and gas drilling. Consider that Bush has bought back offshore oil leases in Florida where his brother is running for reelection as governor but refuses to do the same for California. Meaningful environmental protection of our planet for now and the future must rise above petty politics and perceived patriotisms. All nations and all races are one with the world.
