Mission Statement

To provide an excellent dance education with a Christian focus to children from low income families. Using dance as a way of teaching life skills such as discipline, goal setting, teamwork and self esteem. Using Christian education as a character training tool.

Description

We support "Rejoice School of Ballet" in East Nashville. Every child on the free or reduced lunch program pays $10 a month for classes, dance wear. costumes and performance opportunities. We teach approximately 90 children at three sites in East Nashville; Edgefield Baptist Church, East Park Community Center and Glenn Enhanced Option School.

Rejoice is a great program that teaches young girls and boys how to praise God through dance. My daughter has been in it for two years and she loves it! Some children may not realize their gift and talents of dance without the help of Rejoice.
