The Haitian Development Center's mission is to serve and help the Haitian community and other immigrant community in their struggle for social, educational and economic self-sufficiency in United States and abroad, by providing them with the tools needed to build such self-sufficiency and engaged members of their society.

Description

Founded in United States by a group of young Haitian, the Haitian Development Center, Inc. (HDC) is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to support Immigrants, particularly Haitian immigrants by providing them with educational trainings, community organizing, leadership development and open space to grow and create a better future in the United States and abroad.

The Haitian Development Center (HDC) envisioned a holistic approach to community service based program providing a solution to the welfare and other economic, health, education and social dilemmas that Haitian immigrant and other immigrant face when they enter the United States or other foreign country. Haitian Development Center's programs focus on: Educational Development, Legal Services, Health and Social Services, Policy Advocacy and Support Services.
