Mission Statement

Congaree Riverkeeper is committed to protecting the natural and recreational integrity of the Congaree, Saluda, and Broad Rivers through community outreach and the enforcement of environmental laws.

Congaree Riverkeeper’s jurisdiction is the lower Saluda River (downstream from the Lake Murray Dam), the lower Broad River (downstream from the Parr Shoals Reservoir Dam) and the entire Congaree River to its confluence with the Wateree River.

We are a grassroots organization that relies on the support and donations from the community in order to continue protecting our valuable rivers.

Description

River Rocks music and recreation festival volunteers needed!
 River Rocks is a music and recreation Festival to benefit Congaree Riverkeeper, a non-profit organization which works to protect water quality and wildlife habitat along the Congaree, lower Saluda, and lower Broad rivers. T he festival will feature live music as well as recreational river activities such as kayak races and tubing on the canal throughout the day. There will also be lots of fun games and educational activities for kids!

There will be beer and BBQ (provided by the exquisite Bone-In Artisan BBQ Truck), as well as other various concessions for sale.
We need volunteers to help with various tasks throughout the day. Volunteers will get free access to the festival as well as a free festival t-shirt. We will also be providing water to the volunteers throughout the day.
