Description

The Arts Council carries out this mission through three major programmatic areas:Services to the Arts Community - Providing to artists and arts organizations financial assistance through grant making; technical assistance; information and referral; collaborations which build a shared sense of community among diverse participants in the arts community.Services to the Community - Providing to schools, communities, human service agencies, and special populations artists residencies; identifying, training, and placing artists; technical assistance, program development and financial support and participation in community revitalization efforts. Public information Services - Marketing the arts via two monthly publications, a web site, interactive arts kiosks, telephone and online calendar of events, direct mail, press releases, and community presentations.
