The Volunteer Service Council's mission is to increase community knowledge, involvement, commitment, and concern for the patients and clients served by Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare in order to help reduce the stigma of mental illness.

Description

The Volunteer Service Council of Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare (TVBH) is an auxiliary of the hospital and is a self-governing membership organization. TVBH provides the central Ohio community recovery-based, safe, high quality, cost-effective and accessible inpatient mental health services to persons with severe mental illness in partnership with our patients, their families and other community providers. TVBH is a regional psychiatric hospital within Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) Hospital System of Care.
