To collect, preserve, display, and interpret American art emphasizing, but not limited to, art and artists of the South.

Description

The Morris Museum of Art holds a collection of over 5,000 paintings and works on paper encompassing a history of art in the South. An associated study center has an extensive library and archives pertaining to artists working in the South. The museum is located on the Riverwalk in downtown Augusta.
