Mission Statement

The mission of the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter is to create & maintain a facility which will serve to house and protect the area's lost, unwanted or abused dogs & cats, to provide a safe & caring environment until a home can be found for these animals. This facility will work diligently to ensure that all adoptable animals are given every chance at finding a home via a no-kill policy, the use of foster homes and educating the public on responsible pet care.
