Description
The PKD Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to research. Our number one goal is to fund research to find a treatment and a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD.) In doing this, we also recognize that patient service programs are very important. PKD affects 600,000 Americans and 12.5 million worldwide, making it the most common life-threatening genetic disease. It is two time more common than multiple sclerosis and 20 times more common than cystic fibrosis.
