Mission Statement

The Carving Studio and Sculpture Center inspires people of all ages to create three dimensional art on the grounds of Vermont's historic West Rutland marble quarries.

Description

The Carving Studio and Sculpture Center offers sculpture workshops, residencies for artists to create new work and gallery/outdoor exhibitions.

Custom programs for youth include 5-day art camps for youth (ages 6-8, 9-12 years old) and the Stone Bench Project, a two week workshop for local teens to work with master sculptors to design and carve a stone bench that is donated to the community for public use.
