Mission Statement
Let The Children Come Learning Center is a tax-exempt, non profit child care program. Its purpose is to function to create an environment which offers a variety of experiences conducive to the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of children. Realization of these goals helps children develop better coping methods, self-discipline, self-respect and assume responsibility.
Let The Children Come Learning Center administers to the growth and development of the total child into early adulthood.
Let The Children Come Learning Center recruits and admits students of any race, color, and ethnic orgin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities. Description
Let The Children Come is licensed by the Ohio Department of Human Services. The license is posted in the main lobby. The ODHS rules and regulations are available in the office as well. The Center's licensing record, including compliance report forms and evaluations forms from the Health Building and Fire Departments are available upon request from the Department. The Department of Human Services's toll free number is 1-800-282-1190 for anyone to use to report a suspected violation by the Center. Locally call 614-752-0318.
The licence capacity in each age grooup of the Center is as follows:
8 Toddlers, 40 Preschoolers, 40 Schoolagers
The Center observes the following staff/child ratios and small group sizes maintained for each age group:
Toddlers 18 mos - 2 years Ratio: 1:08 Small 8
Preschool 3-4 years Ratio: 1:12 Small 17
Preschool 4-5 years Ratio: 1:14 Small 27
Schoolage 5-12 years Ratio: 1:18 Small 36
NOTE: Two (2) adults are required when 8 or more children are on the premises.
