Description
Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate cancer survivorship and raise money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society. Teams of people walk the track to signify that cancer never sleeps. There is a survivor dinner hosted before the event where all survivors and caregivers can come together for support. The survivors then kick-off the event by taking the first lap around the track. The rest of the night includes entertainment, games, food, and a remembrance ceremony called the Luminaria Ceremony.
