Mission Statement

The Discovery Museum is a public service educational institution dedicated to fostering curiosity, wonder and stewardship by revealing the links between history, science, and technology and the everyday lives of people of all ages, cultural affiliations and backgrounds.

Description

The Discovery Museum is located at two sites. The History Center, located in Old Sacramento, displays artifacts and documents of Sacramento and California History and the Science and Space Center, located on Auburn Blvd. houses the Challenger Learning Center and science exhibits for families.
